KinesiologyContent was created to be a place of information sharing. Initially, I would like to use this as a platform to relay quality information to my colleagues and students regarding human performance, rehabilitation, and leadership. Sharing more relevant content is a major objective of mine for the year of 2018.
Kinesiology and the related sub-disciplines cover a vast amount of information, often too much to digest (let alone retain) from a degree or certification. Self-education is key. Leaders in our field continue to emerge as they share scientific literature, best practices, and valuable opinions based on years of experience. It would be ignorant not to heed their advice and consider other’s mistakes/successes, but we simply do not have the time and/or resources to attend every conference, flip through every journal, or even listen to half the podcasts/audio-books out there.
I hope to help by publishing a weekly newsletter/blog identifying a handful of pieces of information in a
condensed fashion to help keep you in the know.
